There were a few surprises around on Saturday, one of them seeing Cefn Mawr Rangers losing their unbeaten home record with a 2-1 defeat to Caerwys.

Leaders gap Connah's Quay hammered Halkyn United 9-3, Jack Foster and Luke Woolley with hat-tricks, Dominic McHugh, Iwan Rogers and Craig Chisholm the rest, Sean Wilkes (2) and Joe Foster replying.

Ryan Worrall, Jake Williams and Jimmy McGlone delivered Flint Mountain a 3-0 victory against Mostyn Dragons.

Darrell Rees (pen), Liam Savage, Dean Gittins and Terry Nicholas struck for Mold Town United in a 4-1 beating of Hawkesbury Bell, Luke Bricknell for the travellers.

In the Premier Cup semi-finals Sychdyn upset the odds with a 6-1 away thrashing of fancied Mynydd Isa Spartans.

George Thomas, Tim Hughes, Ryan Williams, Terry Pughe (2) and Craig Stewart did the damage for Sychdyn, Lee Sylvester for Spartans.

Offa Athletic also made the final but needed extra time to eliminate Acton 4-2.

Phil Stott netted for Offa in normal time, while Sean Merryweather (pen), Matthew Bennett and Tommy Hallam pounced in the added half-hour. Gavin Davies (pen) and Tom Duckett kept Acton in it.
