Plas Madoc beat Penyffordd Lions 4-3 in what was a brilliant game of football.

Plas Madoc edged up to second in the table with a hard-fought 4-3 win over Penyffordd.

Jamie Williams bagged a hat-trick and Jordan Powell a single for the hosts, Matty Holmes, Sam Richardson and Lee Acott hitting back for the visitors.

Richard Wright (3, 1 pen), Ryan Price and Seb Huber shared the goals in Bradley Park's 5-1 whipping of Aston Park Rangers, Mike Geddie for the travellers, while leaders Connah's Quay Nomads Under-18s saw off Caerwys 3-1.

Tom Dove handed the away side a half-time lead, but Nomads turned the tables in the second period through Max Moore (2) and Ryan Sharp.

In the Premier Cup round two, Flint Mountain edged it 2-1 at Mold Town United, David Jones and Sean Wilkes with the decisive goals, Stephen Wilson keeping the hosts in the hunt.

Jordan Hollingsworth and James Gibney earned Offa Athletic a 2-0 success over Acton, while Halkyn United were unable to field a team at Rhosllanerchrugog, who were awarded the tie automatically by a 3-0 margin.
