LEADERS MAESGWYN DRAW AGAIN.

Maesgwyn managed to draw their fifth consecutive league game when they were held 4-4 at home by Aston Park Rangers,

Darren Jones, Chris Badderley, Seb Kidd and Ryan Jones scored for the home side while Sam Fryer rescued a point for the visitors following a hat trick from Mike Whales. GAP Connahs Quay are in third after Joe Johnson netted his second of the game in the 90th minute to secure a 4-3 win over CPD Sychdyn, Aaron Williams and Iwan Rogers also netted for GAP while Craig Stewart (2) and Tim Hughes scored for Sychdyn, Offa Athletic fought out a 2-2 draw with Flint Mountain, Lee Messham put the Mountain men in front before Adam Griffiths put Offa level and then gave them the lead before Ian Wynne scored for Mountain to level the scores again. Ewloe Spartans ran out 6-3 winners at home to Acton, Lee Silvester netted four for the home side, James Barnes and John Wilday scoring the other two, Matt Sutherland, Anthony Grubb and Andrew Rutter scoring for the visitors who lead 3-2 at one stage in the game.
In the outstanding Premier Cup game Connahs Quay Tigers knocked out Mold town Utd 5-2, Andy Jones (2), Connor Gorman, Scott Ellis and Gary McNaught the Tigers scorers while Dean Gittins and Aaron North replied for Mold.
In the 4th round of the FAW Trophy Rhostyllen progressed to the next round after a 3-1 win over Pentraeth of the Welsh Alliance League.
