PHOENIX WIN 14 GOAL THRILLER.

Deeside Phoenix got the better of a 14 goal thriller at home to Halkyn Utd Res, eventually running out 8-6 winners.

Phoenix were 4-0 up at half time through Danny Edwards, Jay Bowden, Paul Davies and Mike Whales but Halkyn hit back through Ryan Tierney, Daniel Forlansas and Sam Scott.
Chris Woodward extended Phoenix lead to 5-3 but Ian Jones replied immediately to reduce the deficit, Carl Wright scored for Phoenix before Bowden and Davies both got their second goals,Ian Jones and Nathan Jones reduced the deficit to round off an entertaining game.
Castle Park secured a point at home to Flint Town Utd Res, Charlie Feeney levelled for Park after a Luke Greenwood own goal gave the visitors the lead. Cefn Albion's clash with Mold Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch as was the game between Aston and Connahs Quay Tigers.
Flint Mountains Richie Hughes scored twice as they trounced Sychdyn 9-0, further goals came from Stuart Buxton, Lewis Powell, Rob Rush, Kieran Moore, Daniel Griffiths Chris Layne and Ryan Jones.
Aston Park Rangers progressed to this weeks Presidents Cup semi final after winning 5-0 at Acton in their delayed quarter final tie, goals came from Joao Rato (2), Karl Lloyd, Josh Cooke and Dane Brown to set them up for an away tie at Cefn Albion.
