PREMIER CUP ROUND UP REPORT/2ND ROUND DRAW.

Lewis Jone struck twice for the home side, Mynydd Isa Spartans have been drawn against Gap Connahs Quay in both our cup competitions and in the Horace Wynne Cup, again they were successful, this time winning 2-1 thanks to Lee Sylvester and Nathan Jones scoring after Luke Woolley put Gap ahead on 25 minutes. Mostyn Dragons proved too strong for Hawkesbury Bell running out 2-1 winners, goals from Ashley Lloyd and Jac McLean put them on their way before Tom Dodd pulled one back for Hawkesbury with 15 minutes left, Bradley Park scored after a quarter of an hour through Neil Green but visitors Flint Mountain hit back through Lee Messham, Chris Layne and Jimmy McGlone to secure a 3-1 passage to the next round.
Terry Pughe set Sychdyn on their way at Caerwys with an early goal and they didn't look back with Alyn Roberts and a Billy Exford double giving them a 4-1 Victory, Callan White scoring for the home side. Halkyn Utd had to work hard for their success against Mold Town, Sean Wilkes put them in front only for the visitors to hit back through Stephen Wilson and a Darrell Rees penalty, heartbreak was to come in the shape of a Stephen Wilson own goal and the winner from Ryan Anderson in the fifth minute of added on time to give Halkyn a 3-2 win,follow this link for a comprehensive report on this game.

In the other tie, Offa Athletic proved too strong for Tanyfron Utd Cian Loftus, John Dean (2), Tommy Hallam (2) and Aaron Poglettke giving the visitors a 6-0 win
