RHOSTYLLEN TO FACE GAP CONNAHS QUAY IN PREMIER CUP FINAL.

Rhostyllen faced an unexpected struggle in their Premier Cup semi-final against Acton FC.

Bottom of the league and without a win all season in 16 attempts, Acton only lost 3-2 in extra time to all-conquering Rhostyllen.

Robin Gibson, Ashley Ryan and Steven Jones edged the tie for the favourites, Adam Smith and Anthony Grubb running Acton close.

Kieran Gaul's net-finder from 40 yards secured gap Connah's Quay a 1-0 decision over Sychdyn in the other semi.
In the three league games played, Aaron North struck twice to give Mold Town a 2-0 home win over Maesgwyn while Offa Athletic had Sean Merryweather to thank for a 90th minute equaliser at home to Ewloe Spartans, Chris Hewitt also scored twice for the home side while Cody Silvester (2) and Darren Jones were on the scoresheet for Spartans in a 3-3 draw.
Aston Park Rangers, 2-0 up on the hour through Lee Woodward and Josh Cook, must have thought they were on the way to three points at Flint Mountain, but, Mountain hit back with two goals in two minutes through Kieran Moore and Ian Wynne to secure a point in a 2-2 draw.
