Aston Park Rangers

have hit the top spot
after the 10-0 hammering of Castle Park in the
North East Wales League.
Hat-tricks for Karl Lloyd and Joe Sanders
helped Rangers to the comfortable victory, Ryan
Hewitt netted twice and the scoring was
complete after goals for Danny Harris and Alex
Newton.
Cefn Albion also maintained a 100 per cent
start, with a 4-0 win over Flint Mountain. Lee
Price bagged twice for the home side. There
were goals too for Josh Williams (28) and Alex
Williams (37).
Jack Sullivan's two goals enabled Connahs
Quay Tigers to see off Flint Town United 4- 1,
with Brynley Preece and Kyle Hart completing
the home sides score sheet. Ryan Pierce had
given Flint a lead in the 24 minute.
Acton beat Gresford SSFC 4-3 in a thriller, with
Seb Kidd netting the 88th minute winner. Goals
from Kidd, Matt Sutherland and Jason Williams
for Acton had been cancelled out by Tommy
Hallam, Lee Bent and Mike Jones, as the
scoreline read 3-3 after just 26 minutes, Kidd's
winner leaves both teams with three points
each from two matches.
Deeside Phoenix were beaten 2-1 at home to
Sychdyn and goals from Mark Poynton and a last minute
Jack Wingeatt winner proved the
difference after Dave Pugh had equalised for
Phoenlx.
Aston beat Halkyn 3-l with goals from Dale
Paynton, Paul Sanders and Tom Jones. Zak
Griffiths was Halkyn's marksman.
