Flint Mountain miss the chance to finally take the Title

By Admin

Flint put a hold on celebrations after a draw at Mold Town.

The champagne remained on ice for champions-elect Flint Mountain as they were held 1-1 at home by Mold Town United.
Needing a win to seal the title, Mountain led through a 38th minute Luke Rush own goal, but an Aaron North strike 10 minutes from time sealed a point for the plucky visitors.
Undefeated Mountain now have 47 points from 17 matches, while second-placed Acton, who have just one game left, have 45 from 19.
Remaining fixtures for top two
Flint Mountain: Apr 19 - Connah's Quay Nomads U18s (a); other two to be confirmed.
Acton: Apr 19 - Brymbo Victoria (h).
Alistair Gibson netted three times in Acton's 6-2 success at Penyffordd Lions on Saturday, Niall Challinor, Luke Harrington and Steve Powell with the rest, Adam Pugh at the double for the hosts.
Caerwys and Borras Park Albion drew 0-0, while Adam Woosey grabbed a hat-trick in Connah's Quay Nomads U18s' 6-1 romp at Brymbo Victoria on Friday.
Ethan Gault, Ricardo Chinea and James Worthington made up the half-dozen, Taylor Keefe for Vics.
