NORTH EAST WALES FOOTBALL LEAGUE – REPORTS FOR NOVEMBER 27

PREMIER DIVISION
Llangollen Town celebrated an excellent 3-1 win at Halkyn and Flint Mountain in the North East Wales League Premier Division.
Jake Hayward and George Roberts (2) put the visitors three-up before Leon Pickford nabbed a late consolation for the hosts.
Postponed: Castell Alun Colts v Chirk Town, Lex XI v Hawarden Rangers.
CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION
Thomas Anderson bagged a hat-trick as Caerwys outscored Sychdyn 4-2.
All of Anderson’s goals came in a seven-minute spell in the second half.
Connor Thomas netted Caerwys’ first, Keiye Williams and Arran Turner striking for the visitors.
Liam Davies (2, 1 pen), Luke Hughes and Joao Da Silva combined to secure Railway Rovers a 5-2 verdict over FC United of Wrexham.
Goals from Jordan Powell and Callum Parry (pen) had put FCUW 2-1 ahead during the first half.

PREMIER CUP SEMI-FINALS
Cefn Mawr Rangers pipped Greenfield 3-2 thanks to goals from Ben Duffy (2) and Matthew Jones.
Dylan Roberts and Danny Calvert kept the visitors in the contest before Duffy notched a late decider.
In the final, Rangers will meet FC Queen’s Park, who overcame hosts New Brighton Villa 3-0 in the other semi.
Jack Hanley and Charlie Rowley (pen) both scored in the opening 10 minutes for the Wrexham side. Leroy Ngema-Stamp added a third on 65 minutes.

TWO COUNTIES CUP SEMI-FINALS
Matthew Pritchard and Lee Price knocked in doubles as new side Ruabon Rovers reached their first final with a 5-3 victory at Johnstown YFC.
Josh Williams completed the away tally, Robert Reynolds, Joshua Smith and Charlie Samuels having put Johnstown 3-1 ahead at one stage in the first half.
John Coady, Ryan Hewitt and Jake Leonard all netted in the second half of Connah’s Quay Town’s 3-0 triumph over Penyffordd Lions.

THE RESERVE CUP SEMI-FINALS
Hawarden Rangers will take on Mynydd Isa Spartans in the final.
Ryan Dunn registered a hat-trick in the first half hour as Hawarden saw off Caerwys 3-1, Jack Wakeman responding.
Mark Atkinson (2) and Jordan Walker guided Spartans to a 3-0 success at Llay Welfare Colts, all the goals arriving in the second period.

VETERANS PREMIER DIVISION
Shotton Steel defeated Buckley Town 4-1, Lee Stitchcome, Sean Wilkes, Paul Whittaker and Andy Bentley all on target in the second half for the Steelmen.
Matt Rushton had handed Buckley a 20th minute lead.
