RANGERS SUCCESS OVER TIGERS IN THE PRESIDENTS CUP.

Aston Park Rangers produced a late comeback to knock Connahs Quay Tigers out of the Presidents Cup with a 2-1 victory.

Brynley Preece had given Tigers the lead in the 70th minute but that was pegged back with 10 minutes to play through Danny Harwin, Harwin then struck again in the 85th minute to book Rangers passage into the next round.
Flint Mountain also had to come from behind as Nathan Jones gave host's Sychdyn the lead after 17 minutes, ex Sychdyn player Richard Hughes had other ideas though and netted either side of half time to send Mountain through to round 2,Cefn Albion brushed aside Castle Park 8-0, Nicky Williams bagged a first half hat trick with Alex Williams netting in the 52nd and 75th minutes, Lee Price, Jamie Foulkes and Shaun Jones completed the scoring.
Gresford SSFC inflicted a 7-0 defeat to Halkyn Utd Reserves, Tommy Hallam scoring a hat trick, the other goals came from Gareth Jones, Callum Dutton, Ross Morgan and Scott Richards.
Mold Town Utd go through having seen off Deeside phoenix 2-0, goals from Christian Davies and John Alexander securing the win.
In the days only league game Acton FC twice came from behind to beat Flint Town Utd Reserves 3-2, Johnny Morton gave Flint a 2nd minute lead before Matt Sutherland equalised, Simon Wainwright then put the visitors ahead only for Sutherland to level again but Dave Jones bagged the points for Acton in the 55th minute to secure the points.
