North East Wales League side Cefn Mawr Rangers recovered from two down to beat Welsh National League Rhostyllen 4-2 after extra time,
Lewis Jones with a treble, and Jordan Powell scoring the goals that knocked out last years giant killers.
In the league,leaders Mynydd Isa Spartans moved five points clear at the top with a 4-0 drubbing of Bradley Park, Nathan Jones netting two, with Matthew Loton and Lee Sylvester one each, Craig Stewart struck twice as Sychdyn saw off Acton 4-0,Joss Norris and Sam Hughes completing the scoring for Sychdyn. Gap Connah’s Quay and Flint Mountain battled to a 3-3 draw, Luke Woolley, Leon Doran and Iwan Rogers for Gap, Jimmy McGlone (2) and Ian Jones for Mountain and at the Rec Mold Town United v Aston Park Rangers also ended 3-3, Aaron North (2) and Dean Gittins for Mold, Chad Shelbourne, Scott Nelson and Ashley Aldom for Aston.
