North East Wales squad on verge of Europe.

REGIONS CUP FINAL.

North East Wales FA have a chance of qualifying for Europe this weekend.

The representative side take on South Wales FA on Saturday at Latham Park, Newtown, for the right to fly the Welsh flag in the UEFA Regions Cup (3pm kick-off).

Made up of players entirely from the North East Wales League, the NEWFA squad are targeting a place in the finals in San Marino,

Wales are in a group with the hosts, Greece and Kazakhstan.

To qualify, NEWFA defeated the North Wales Coast FA on four occasions with a goal difference of +13, the games taking place over the last 12 months.

NEWFA squad: Daniel Cooper (Hawarden Rangers), Ricky Bennett (Flint Mountain), Jamie Foulkes (Cefn Albion), Sean Jones (Cefn), Jack Richards (Cefn), David Smith (APR), Danny Edwards (APR), Nic Jones (Cefn),Nathan Williams (Cefn), Sam Fryer (APR), Karl Lloyd (APR), Chad Shelbourne (FC Nomads), Ryan Hewitt (Hawarden Rangers), Kyle Harte (Connah's Quay Tigers), Alex Williams (Cefn),Anthony Weaver (APR), Mike Whales (APR), Terry Nicholas (Mold Town Utd).

Joint managers are Steve Lloyd (Cefn) and Stewart Tarran (APR).

The qualification date for the players was September 1, 2014 at which time they must have been registered to a club at level five.
