Sychdyn recorded their first opening day win for a couple of years

with a 3-0 defeat of Acton FC, Luke Robinson, Tim Hughes and Nicholas Van Miert scoring for the hosts, newcomers Maesgwyn proved too strong for Castle Park netting four without reply, Tom Duckett, Jamie Taylor, Luke Harrington and Callum Parlour finding the net. Although Aston Park Rangers led at half time with a goal from Scott Skeene, Flint Mountain were too strong in the second half and ran out 6-1 winners thanks to a Richard Hughes hat trick, a double from Lee Messham, Tom Smith rounded off the scoring. GAP Connahs Quay proved too strong for Ewloe Spartans, a Jack Chambers penalty on the stroke of half time and a further goal by Josh Rimmer gave them a 2-0 victory, in the Wrexham derby game Rhostyllen got the better of Offa Athletic winning 3-0, Kevin Roberts, James Jones and Steven Jones scoring for the visitors. At the Rec, Connahs Quay Tigers eventually got the better of Mold Town Utd running out 5-4 winners, Mold scorers were Aaron North (2) Christian Davies and Terry Nicholas while Tigers marksmen were Andy Jones (2), Martin Bainbridge (2) and Tom Parry.
