A hard-fought draw at Lon-yr-Ysgol between hosts Caerwys and the reigning champions.

Connah’s Quay Town 4 Penyffordd Lions 1
Kyle Harte, Freddie Watts, Ryan Hewitt and Andy Jones provided the goals which earned Connah’s Quay Town a welcome first league win of the season.

Ben Hughes responded for Penyffordd from the penalty spot when it stood 3-0 to Town.

Lex XI 3 Greenfield 6
Three away wins on the trot and 14 goals scored – Greenfield look to be a team on the up.

Samuel Edwards (2), Ryan Jones, Kieran Roberts, Lewis Williams and Connor Hughes shared the goals for the visitors, Jason Edwards and Kian Davies (2) having put Lex 3-2 up at one stage.

Tom Douglas led the way with a hat-trick for unbeaten leaders Rhostyllen.

Ben Duffy (2), William Roberts and Drew Wickens added the remainder for the hosts, Kacper Wojciech with a sole response for Casty.

Ruabon Rovers 1 Coedpoeth United 8
Kady Seabrook netted three times for a Coedpoeth outfit which piled on the goals at the Recreation Ground.

Aaron Camplin scored twice for the visitors, while there was one apiece for Sion Turner, Joshua Jones and Thomas Lloyd, Ben Summers replying.

Aston Park Rangers 16 Bellevue 3
Johnny Crossley had a day to remember as he scored SIX times for Aston Park in a mammoth victory over the ever-battling Bellevue.

Ryan Edge bagged four and Tony Jones a double for the hosts, Karl Lloyd, Lewis Jones, Jack Jones and a Jack Hughes OG making up the rest.

Bellevue never gave in and did manage three goals of their own through Adam Sumner, Aaron Fairfield and Nathan Rush.

Steven Kirk, David O’Neill, Aidan Bell (pen) and Gyorgy Szabo all found the net to guide Gronant to victory over the leaders, who were beaten for the first time this season, Andrew Bithell and Sam Giles hitting back for the visitors.

Good win on the road for Johnstown, Keneth Davies and Jason Williams knocking in their goals.

Lee Price (3) and Josh Williams delivered the goals which handed Overton their first league defeat of 2023-24.

Nathan Williams scored three times in what was an incident-packed first half-hour for Rhydymwyn, who also had Ryan Davies red-carded in that period.

Corey Roberts and Shaun Edwards-Stanton struck for Yr Wyddgrug to pull it back to 3-2, but Tom Lynch netted a fourth for the 10-men before half time.

The second half was goalless until Charlie Hughes made it 5-2 to Rhyd in the 89th minute.

Michael Whales gave Mynydd an eighth-minute lead, but Elliott Moore equalised on 37 and 1-1 is how it stayed.

Greenfield Reserves 1 Coedpoeth United Reserves 7
It was a great afternoon for Coedpoeth with the first team winning 8-1 on their travels and the reserves rattling up a 7-1 success away from home.

Ben Griffiths, Ross Hardy-Partington, Kevin Breeze, Joe Colley, Joshua Partington, Morgan Hyndman-Jones and Harry Richardson scored one apiece for the league leaders, Dion Davies with a home reply.

Sean Price, Matthew Bithell, Jake Jones, Joshua Venables (2), Richard Jones and Lewis Evison split the goals for the champions, Samuel Genders with a response for Town.

Penyffordd Lions Reserves 3 Lex Reserves 2
Joseph Henry pocketed a 91st minute winner for Penyffordd.

Lewis Evans (pen) and Paul Jones also hit the target for Lions, Samuel Colley and Jordan Tipping (pen) keeping the Lawmen in the contest.
