North East Wales League side Rhostyllen

continued their remarkable form by reaching the Welsh Trophy semi-finals with a 4-3 extra time victory at AC Pontymister.

Olie Allman was the away side's hero with a double strike, including the 100th minute winner, while Darren Hignett and James Jones also scored for the Wrexham team.

Meanwhile in the league Andy Jones grabbed four early goals as Connah's Quay Tigers took the points with a 6-3 victory at Aston Park Rangers, Kyle Harte and Josh Gelder completed the scoring for Tigers. A Paul Davies double and a further goal from Anthony Weaver for Rangers.

Mark Weir, Tim Hughes, Terry Pughe, Jack Murphy and Scott Nixon nabbed one apiece for Sychdyn in a 5-0 drubbing of Flint Mountain.

At home to GAP Connahs Quay, Mold Town Utd recovered from being 2-0 down to draw 2-2. Aaron Williams and Kai Oldfield put GAP in front only for Aaron North and a late Owen Pierce goal levelled the score with 2 minutes to go.
