Although Saturday’s win put them top of the table, New Brighton Villa had to fight hard to see off battling basement boys Brymbo.

After a goalless first half, James Beck put NBV ahead on the hour only for Alfie Gilmartin to level moments later.

Beck edged the hosts back in front on 65 and Matthew Robinson made it 3-1 after 75 before a late response from the Steelmen set up a tense finish.

Aston Park Rangers 15 Bellevue 1
Eight goals from the machine that is Kallum Pierce put him on 35 for the season and contributed towards a huge win for Rangers.

Pierce registered a double hat-trick in the first half for a home team which was 10-1 up by the interval.

Connor Davies added two, while there were singles for Lewis Jones, Andrew Cook, Joshua Roberts, Johnny Crossley and Harrison Robson.

Jason Ratcliffe notched Bellevue’s sole reply.

Undefeated leaders Caerwys are 10 points clear after making it 16 games unbeaten since the start of the season with a 4-1 verdict over Johnstown.

Matthew Gilsenan bagged a first half hat-trick, while Jack Smallman was also on the mark, Keneth Davies with a late response for the visitors.

Dan Price and Martin Byast both scooped hat-tricks for a Gronant outfit which registered a dozen goals on the road.

Gary Fazackerley (2), Dylan Taylor, Matthew Lewis, Gyorgy Szabo and Cameron Berry made up the 12.

Oliver Scarsbrook (2) and Andrew Bithell ensured second-place Acton edged a close one, Harry Massey with both for the home team.

Jack Radford and Brandon Jones shared the Sychdyn goals, Jake Hughes Hampson on target for the visitors.

Still unbeaten Queen’s Park enjoy an 11-point lead at the summit after overcoming Llay by a two-goal margin.

Ryan Lancelotte pocketed both goals for the Wrexham hosts, who have won 14 and drawn two of their 16 matches.

Three late goals grabbed the win which lifted Castell Alun to second place.

Daniel Herdman, Jamie Hardy and a Kacper Wojciech double booked the points, Oliver Lennon’s reply having ensured Ruthin were on level terms until the closing minutes.
